My Story

During my internship with the University of Hartford athletic department, our team was tasked with developing new designs for our athletes to wear. I began by conducting surveys and focus groups with athletes, students, and alumni to gather insights into their preferences and what they wanted from the merchandise. To make the designs unique, I used bold colors and dynamic graphics that showcased team logos and mascots in an innovative way. The shirt designs were a hit and all of the athletes loved them. In the past all the shirts said was “Hartford Athletics” in small lettering which is boring. By tailoring the shirts to be unique to each specific team made the new designs a success.

This experience highlighted my ability to blend creativity with market research, effectively collaborate with others, and deliver designs that meet both aesthetic and functional needs—skills that would be valuable in developing impactful and appealing products for your brand.
